Protecting the oceans and underwater life is one of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by world leaders. Spain, and especially the Balearic Islands, are tourist destinations surrounded by the sea. It is therefore of vital importance to protect the sea as a habitat for many species and as a source of income.

The Mallorcan shipyard Nauta Morgau has set out to help make nautical leisure activities more environmentally friendly. Its electric and ecological boats are already present in several tourist destinations in the Mediterranean and even on the Spanish mainland, doing their bit to make tourism more sustainable.
